INSURANCE, MEDICAL TEST & TAX
Health Insurance –
After the English teacher gets the working visa with ARC, we
will assist you to apply the health insurance. The employer will pay
NT＄760, and the English
teacher needs to pay NT＄210.
Medical Test –
According to the laws in Taiwan, all the foreigners with ARC
have to get a medical Test once every six months during their staying.
Therefore, every English teacher must get his/her first medical test
as soon as the arrival. And we will provide you the run- trip
transportation to go to the certain hospital to get your medical test.
Tax-
For your first 183 days （approximately
6 months）in
Taiwan, The Taiwanese Government will withhold 20%
of your basic salary NT16500 (not your real salary NT$50000). After
that, your earnings will be withheld at 10﹪.
Yu will get about 14﹪of
your earnings at Tax provided your first arrival date is July 1st
or earlier in a calendar year. However, if for some reason you are
unable to stat more than 183 days in a calendar year, you will forfeit
all of your taxes to the Taiwanese Government.

earnings will be withhold 20﹪
as taxes by Taiwanese Government if your first arrival date is before
JULY 1st and you have stayed more than 183 days. Howere,
your earnings will be withheld 6% if your first arrival date is later
than July 1st and you have not stayed more than 183 days in
a calendar year. In the second year, there will be some deductions for
your taxes, so the taxes will be almost zero.）
